What is the difference between PVC and PP tape?
PP (polypropylene) tape is the cost-effective choice for everyday packaging, lighter cartons and standard shipping conditions. It uses a hot melt adhesive but can struggle in colder temperatures or on certain carton surfaces.
PVC tape is the heavy-duty option with a rubber-based adhesive for a stronger, more reliable bond — ideal for heavier cartons and environments with temperature variation, including cold storage.

What is the process of ordering custom printed tape from Omni?
Place your order via our online customiser or submit an enquiry for larger quantities or four-colour printing. Our artwork team will send an approval within 4 hours — or reach out if we need more detail.
You can also fill out an enquiry form or chat directly with our team at any point from our chat widget on bottom right of the website.
Do you offer an Express Service for custom printed tape?
Yes — our Express Service dispatches within 3–5 business days from artwork approval. Select it at checkout when ordering online, or advise our team when ordering directly. An Express fee of $300 applies.
What colours are available for printing on Omni's tape?
We print in all colours and match your brand using standard PMS colour matching. White tape is recommended for the crispest, most vibrant results — but a range of base tape colours are available to suit your branding.
What artwork files do you require for custom tape printing?
We accept PDF, PSD, AI, and EPS (vector) files. No vector file? Upload a JPG or PNG and our team will help convert it for print.
What if I don't have artwork for my custom tape?
Our artist can assist with artwork setup and redraw low-resolution files where needed. Artwork charges may apply depending on complexity, but we'll always advise upfront. Ask our team to get started.
Will my custom design fade or rub off the tape?
Omni's custom printed tape is built for everyday warehouse and transit conditions — print holds up well through normal handling. Under standard use it will remain clear and consistent.
Do I need a tape dispenser when ordering custom packaging tape?
A dispenser isn't required, but we recommend one — it makes application faster, cleaner and more consistent, especially in high-volume packing environments. We offer a range from standard hand dispensers to water-activated and gummed tape models. Get tape dispenser from Omni.
Do you offer bulk quantities of custom printed tape?
Yes. We supply in 5, 10, 20 and 50 carton quantities — the more you order, the lower the cost per roll. Get in touch for a bulk quote.
