Ordering

Placing an order with us, with or without an account.

Can I check out as a guest, without an account?

Yes. Add what you need to your cart and check out without logging in or creating an account. Guest orders are at retail pricing.

If you order regularly it's worth having an account: you'll see your quoted pricing, your order history, invoices and shipments, and you'll earn Omni Rewards points. If you buy several items or order every month, request a quote online for those products and one of our team will get back to you with your pricing and your online setup.

What do I need to add at checkout?

Shipping address

Add your shipping address, then choose whether your billing address is the same or a different one.

PO number

Optional. Add your reference and it shows on the invoice and in your order history.

Requested delivery date

Optional, and handy if you want to place the order today but have it delivered another day. Or choose pickup if you'd rather collect it.

Having issue during checkout? Email online@omnigroup.com.au.

Do you offer volume or bulk pricing?

Yes. Most products show volume discounts on the product page, even on retail pricing, so you can see the price breaks before you choose a quantity.

For larger or ongoing volumes, ask us for a quote and we can put custom pricing together based on what you need.

How can I easily scan any Omni product in my warehouse to find it on the website?

Use the barcode reader. Open the site on your phone, tap the scan icon, and point your camera at the barcode on any Omni product. The site finds that exact product for you, so there's no searching through catalogues and no risk of ordering the wrong products.

Can I get a sample before I buy?

Yes. You can request a free sample of any of our consumables to test before you commit to a run. On every products there is a button "Request a Free Sample or More Info" - fill this form and we will get back to you with 1-2 business hours. For other products where we can't do sample, ask our team and we'll organise what we can.

Delivery and returns

Getting your order, and what to do if something is not right.

How is my shipping rate calculated?

If you have freight terms on your account, your order is charged at your agreed freight rate rather than the online rate.

Otherwise the rate is worked out at checkout based on where the order is going, so you'll see it before you pay. Our shipping policy has the full detail.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Warehouse consumables are stocked locally, with next-day metro delivery nationwide on in-stock items. Some products, including several machines, show "Dispatch in 3 to 5 business days" on the product page, so check the stock note before you order. If you need it urgently, contact us and we'll check stock for you.

If you need something by a certain date, add a requested delivery date at checkout and we'll work to it.

Can I return something?

Have a look at our return and refund policy for what can be returned and how, then email online@omnigroup.com.au with your order number and we'll help sort it.

Accounts and pricing

Setting up an account so you get your own pricing and terms.

How do I set up a trading account with net terms?

Fill Credit Application Form with your business details and we'll get an account created for you. Once it's set up we'll link it to your online login, so you see your quoted pricing, your quoted items, and your orders, invoices and shipments in one place.

How do I log in or sign up?

First time logging in. Enter your email address on the login page, then enter the erification code we email you, and create your password. That's it.

Every time after that. Just your email and the password you created. No code needed.

The code sometimes lands in your spam folder, or your security provider blocks it. If you still can't find it, email online@omnigroup.com.au.

Signing up. You can sign up as a customer with just your name and email, or as a company by adding your business details so we can link your trade account. Or skip it and check out as a guest.

Products

Choosing the right film, tape or wrap for the job.

What types of pallet or stretch wrap are there, and how do I choose?

There are a few different films, and the right one comes down to how you wrap and what you're wrapping.

Hand pallet wrap

Wrapped by hand, usually on shorter rolls with a dispenser. Best for lower volumes or odd loads.

Machine pallet wrap

Longer rolls made to run on a pallet wrapping machine, with pre-stretch doing the work instead of the operator.

Ventilated wrap

Lets air move through the load, so it suits chilled, fresh or produce lines.

Bundling wrap

Narrow rolls for bundling and securing smaller items rather than whole pallets.

How to choose. Start with whether you wrap by hand or on a machine, then look at your load: its weight, height, whether the edges are sharp, and how far it travels. From there it's film width, roll length and gauge. If you're going through a lot of film, or getting damaged loads, we can audit your process and put a number on what a machine and the right film would save you.

What stretch film should I use?

It depends on your load: its weight and shape, how sharp the edges are, whether you wrap by hand or on a machine, and how far the pallets travel. Our team will look at what you're wrapping and recommend the right gauge and film type, and we can trial options with you on site.

What is custom printed tape, and can I order it online?

Custom printed tape is packaging tape printed with your branding or a message, so every carton you seal carries it. People use it for logos and promotions, and for handling instructions like fragile or this way up.

Ours is made in our Melbourne facility, which keeps turnaround fast, and yes, you order it online and we ship Australia wide.

  1. Pick your tape type: packaging, paper, gummed, barrier, perforated or machine tape.
  2. Choose your size, colours and quantity, then upload your artwork or your text.
  3. Check the mock-up we generate. It is not the final artwork, but you can see your logo and the tape together. Once you place the order our designer reviews your logo against the colours you chose and prepares a proper final design for approval.
  4. Want to test it first? Request a free sample. For larger runs, request a quote and we'll price it.

Machinery and service

Pallet wrappers and the team that looks after them.

How do I know which pallet wrapper I need?

It comes down to how many pallets you wrap a day, your load weight and height, and the space you have. We can come on site, audit your wrapping process and recommend a setup that cuts film use and improves load stability. The audit is free.

Machines come in four families: semi-automatic turntables, fully automatic turntables, mobile wrappers that drive around the load, and inline machines for high volume lines.

Do you service and repair machines?

Yes. Omni Machinery has our own in-house technicians, the only dedicated packaging service team of its kind in Australia, so you deal with us rather than a third party. You can book a service through the website.

What warranty comes with a machine?

Warranties run up to 10 years depending on the machine, and we have flexible payment options to help you get the right setup in place. Ask us about the model you're looking at and we'll confirm the terms.

How does the Omni Rewards program work?
