About Moon Dog
Founded in 2010 in Melbourne by brothers Josh and Jake Uljans and school mate Karl van Buuren, Moon Dog began with a lil’ brewery in the back streets of Abbotsford, with the trio brewing beer in a brew house welded together from ex-dairy equipment and selling mind blowing craft beer from the back of a ‘97 Volvo V40 station wagon.
The Problem
Moon Dog Brewing is one of Melbourne’s most creative and fast-growing independent breweries. With multiple venues and a booming seltzer line, their production output has grown rapidly — creating pressure on their packaging and distribution process. As pallet volumes increased, Moon Dog faced challenges around:
- Inconsistent load containment from older wrapping systems
- Film wastage and high material use
- Manual re-wrapping and downtime slowing operations

The Solution
To optimise their pallet wrapping efficiency, Moon Dog partnered with Omni Group to install a complete pallet wrapping system featuring:

2. Elite Machine Pallet Stretch Wrap
Moon Dog selected Omni’s Elite Machine Stretch Wrap, one of Omni’s most popular high-performance films. With exceptional clarity, puncture resistance, and stretch yield, the film provides secure containment while dramatically reducing material use.
