VentX Slitter
INLINE FILM SLITTING ATTACHMENT
Omni VentX Slitter is a precision add-on system designed for pallet wrapping machines, developed to enhance the performance of standard stretch film so that it ventilates.
It converts a 500mm film roll into three controlled bands during the wrapping cycle, while maintaining consistent tension across the load.
The slitting function is manually engaged and adjustable, allowing operators to control when and how the film is slit based on load requirements. This provides greater flexibility across different applications while maintaining reliable wrapping performance.
Omni VentX Slitter operates inline with the wrapping process, applying full-width film at the start and end of the cycle, with slit film used throughout the main wrapping phase to optimise efficiency, ventilation and load containment.
How It Works

START OF CYCLE
Full width wrap at bottom
Standard 500mm film is applied at full width to secure the base of the load.
MAIN WRAPPING PHASE
3-band slitting
The 500mm film is split into three narrow bands, maintaining consistent tension across the load.
END OF CYCLE
3-band load lock
The three film bands apply the final wraps to lock and secure the load, and end by securing the final wrap at the base of the load.
