Epping, VIC, 01/07/2026 - Omni Packaging has acquired a new 11,000sqm facility at 82 Taryn Drive, Epping, with the business set to relocate later this year as it continues to expand across the country.ย
The acquisition was finalised on 25 June 2026. Omni expects to move into the new premises around September, with the transition planned so there is no disruption to the business or its customers.ย
Omni Packagingย started in 1992, when founder Tim Salisbury started AAA Packaging out of a 400sqm building in Allenby Street, North Coburg. The business moved to a larger 800sqm site in Lambeck Drive in 1997, before building a 2,300sqm facility in Flight Drive in 2004. In 2012, the company moved into its current 4,800sqm premises in Logistics Street, and later acquired a 1,600sqm building in McGregors Drive to house the National Machinery and Service Department. AAA Packaging was renamed Omni Group in 2015.
The new Taryn Drive facility will bring all of Omni's offices, warehouse, production and service operations together under one roof in Melbourne for the first time. The site includes a significant expansion of warehouse space, along with a much larger footprint for the Machinery and Service Department, giving the team room to grow alongside demand for machinery sales and servicing. From reception through to custom printed tape, production and warehousing, every part of the business will operate out of the new site, which will be fitted out to meet Omniโs specific requirements.
"When I started AAA Packaging in 1992 in that little building in Allenby Street, North Coburg, I had no idea where it would lead," said Tim Salisbury, Founder of Omni Packaging. "We've moved a few times since then, Lambeck Drive, Flight Drive, Logistics Street, and each move came down to the same thing: our customers backing us to keep growing. Becoming Omni in 2015 was a big step for the business, and securing Taryn Drive now is one of the greatest moments we've had. It says a lot about everyone who's helped get us from such small beginnings to where we are today."
The move comes off the back of a strong year for Omni nationally. The business has continued to grow its customer base and expand its solutions-based offering, with more customers relying on Omni for both packaging machinery and consumables. Earlier this year, Omni also relocated its Sydney operations from Moorebank to Ingleburn as part of its broader national growth.
That growth has continued despite wider global economic pressures. Omni has not seen any pullback in revenue or growth through this period - in fact, FY26 has been one of the strongest years in the company's history.
"FY26 has been a record year for Omni, and this facility is the perfect way to finish it off," said Jonathan Salisbury, Managing Director. "We've grown strongly across the business this year, particularly in customer acquisition and our solutions-based work, and the forecasts ahead of us point to more of the same. Taryn Drive gives us the room and weโll fit it out with the setup we need to keep up with that growth, and the timing couldn't be better."
With the Sydney move already complete and the Melbourne consolidation now underway, Omni Packaging continues to build on its position as one of the major players in the Australian packaging industry.ย
